I gave up watching horror films after I jumped so violently when

something leapt out during one that I wrenched my shoulder. It hurt for

weeks afterwards. Mind you, I managed to sit through most of Silence of

the Lambs, although it was on TV, not in the cinema - I don't think I

could have stood that. Gladiator I watched the beginning of and then

went away - looked far too violent and bloodthirsty for me. DH not

impressed, but then he likes sitting and watching films on TV/DVD in the

evenings - it doesn't really do anything for me, and then he gets cross

that I want to do something else.
