Guest guest
We met with the hospice people today. My Mom will be going home tomorrow and we'll have to see if I have to constantly be there or not-- the nurse thinks my Mom can be by herself sometimes and I'm working on my sister to help me some. I do want to be there for my Mom but just knowing I'm not going to have to deal with this by myself helps me tremendously. I do feel better after talking to the hospice people--it seems they will help in any way they can. The hospital does have her on medication that takes a lot of the pain away. My Mom actually has a little more appetite and feels like doing stuff. We are hoping to get her out to have some fun--who knows what could happen. I will keep posting when I know more but I want to thank all of you for your support and prayers and the helpful advice. You all help me more than you know. If it weren't for all of you and my husband I would fall apart. Thank you so much and please take care of yourselves. Diane
Guest guest
I am glad you talked to hospice since your sister is not there they will be a big help to you. I am not sure where your mom is right now, (in her health) I know my mom was up and driving then she was down it just kind of came over her. spend as much time with her as you can. tell her you love her every day. I think i am jsut starting to wind down to realize my mom is gone and i wish i had just a bit more time. SO stay with her as long as you can, you will be the better for it Stacey > We met with the hospice people today.
