My Mom will be going home tomorrow and we'll have to see if I have to constantly be there or not-- the nurse thinks my Mom can be by herself sometimes and I'm working on my sister to help me some. I do want to be there for my Mom but just knowing I'm not going to have to deal with this by myself helps me tremendously. I do feel better after talking to the hospice people--it seems they will help in any way they can. The hospital does have her on medication that takes a lot of the pain away. My Mom actually has a little more appetite and feels like doing stuff. We are hoping to get her out to have some fun--who knows what could happen. I will keep posting when I know more but I want to thank all of you for your support and prayers and the helpful advice. You all help me more than you know. If it weren't for all of you and my husband I would fall apart. Thank you so much and please take care of yourselves. Diane Diane...I know you'll be busy the next few weeks, but pop in now and again to let us know how things are going and how you are doing...we can help you through this...I'm so glad your hubby is supportive and " there for you " , too. That helps bunches...praying for all of you daily!! Strength and guidance for you and less pain and suffering for your Mommy!! Lots of hugs and prayers, Donelle Caregiver to Glenn
