Some people become less hypothyroid as time goes by after surgery so you want to make sure that your FT4, FT3 and TSH levels are all tested. You could have a normal TSH with high or low thyroid hormone levels because of the effects of thyroid antibodies. Congratulations on your good news. Souns like you have the doctor's visits all lined up and now that you know what they should be testing, make sure to stay on top of them!
