That, the Power of Attorney and his will were all done within a month or so of his diagnosis. Just in case so we wouldn't have to deal with it. We then stuck them in a drawer and said see ya in 40 or 50 years! I haven't looked at them since. We never discussed music but I know Lift High the Cross and Here I Am Lord are probably on his list. He often jokes we should also play Spirit in the Sky at the luncheon. My funny is the theme from The Jefferson's Moving on Up Will anyone even remember those songs by then? Maybe but I'm hoping our grandkids will be giggling themselves sick at all the " old geezer " songs!!!! Narice Spirit in the Sky is my choice of song for me...has been for many years. That song just gets me jumping....have to turn it up whenever it comes on!!! Donelle Caregiver to Glenn

Guest guest
when I die I want them to play Dan Fogelberg's Run for the Roses it is truly a beautiful song especially since I'm a horselover and then the Devil Went Down to GA because it is an awesome fiddle piece and the Orange Blossom Special. Guest guest
Well, I made all my plans too long before this stuff. The big joke around here (since I want my ashes scattered over my girlfriend's farm) is that her husband is going to plow me into the goat pen!! Well, at least I won't be lonely. And I have opted for an outdoor service of friend only with a talking stick and native american music. Spirit in the sky would fit great there, ya think? Guest guest
A talking stick is used when people gather in a circle, usually for some type of ceremony, and only the person with the stick may talk. He would then pass it to someone else but no cross talking. 8-).............................Karima Re: ENOUGH is enough / Karima/Narice Ok I visited a reservation in Montana but for the life of me I don't remember what a talking stick is Yes Spirit in the Sky works great!
