My dad just came over here and told me that he saw on the news last night that the average American spends $4K in health care dollars per year (whether in medicare, insurance, etc....). That's incredible! And he said that most of this money is spent in the last 30 days of life (so that means most of health care money is spent on the dying). Did anybody else see that news clip?
