I think I fell for DD2 while or shortly after finishing bf DS - I have a 15

1/2 month gap. I was certainly bfing DS at nights, can't remember whether

still daytimes, too!

Anyway, I never did get my periods back, really. Had a bit of spotting in

the February and that was it. Was because I was beginning to wonder where

they are (while adamant that I wasn't pregnant) that I did a pg test - to

prove to DH that I *am* in tune with my body!!! Quel surprise.... and the

rest is very lovely history.

Also, a friend of mine who actually had quite a lot of fertility treatment

to stimulate her ovaries for her DD1, fell for her DS almost immediately she

started trying, without any assistance at all - I do think there is

something in the 'mummy mode' theory.

This time, of course, I've come off depo rather than stopped bf. Missed my

last injection well over a month ago. Still no period... Am beginning to

wonder.... I was 10 days late having the injection before last, and had a

bleed almost immediately... anyway, don't 'feel' pregnant and am still sure

I'm in tune with my body, so the tests are staying resolutely in the

medicine cabinet for at least another month. After all, depo hangovers can

be looooonnnnnngggg, can't they??
