Guest guest
Hi everyone: Saturday night I had to go to the emergency room because the pain in my lower abdomen was excruciating and I had a temperature of about 100.8. It feels like my lower abdomen is raw inside. They put me on Cipro (an antibiotic) and concluded that it could be an inflamation caused by the chemo. On Monday, I went to my oncologist for what was to be my third chemo treatment. He decided I was too sick to have chemo this week due to the pain in my abdomen. He said that the chemo may be too toxic for me and that he may have to lessen the amount of the drug. I am not sure which one he is thinking but I am on Avastin plus Oxaliplatin/Leucovorin and 5FU (three days every other week). Has anyone else had this problem? in California
