Guest guest
OK, thanks both of you. Does anyone know if egg WHITES have sulfur? I know the yolks do. I have the lists of sulfur foods -- I am in Greece right now, and the produce here is not quite the same in many cases as what you find in the US, and I am not sure how to figure some things out. For example, one thing I would like to eat is the fresh greens they sell here, but do they have sulfur? They have a sharp taste, like dandelion -- the sulfurfoods list in the Files section of this group does not include some things that are on other lists (rosemary and turmeric are some examples) so the fact that dandelion greens are not on the list doesn't assure me that they do not have sulfur. Also herbs in general -- recently I tried some yellow dock, supposed to be for detox -- well, it hit me as if I had taken a spoonful of whey. I got a feeling as if my forehad was full of lead plus general malaise and this went on and on for days. Is it sulfur in yellow dock? I am not sure. And don't know how to find out. If anyone can give a clue, that would be great. thank you --SC > > Perhaps you mean " sulfur " rather than " sulfation " ? > > Cabbage and borccoli are high sulfur foods. Guest guest
Ya, it's the egg whites where the sulfur should be - as the sulfur is in the protein, and I understand the egg white is the part that has the high protein. As for the fresh greens or various herbs, I don't know.
