Guest guest
Thank you, Simon, Jody, Holly and Elaine for your advise/opinions to stick to the 20mgs of Tap the doctor advised (down 10 from 30) and reduce slowly even though I THOUGHT I was going hypo (along with lab tests which reflected the low end normal ranges). My first inclination was to go lower but I stuck tight thanks to you all and I'm feeling better. I go for more blood work on Friday. I've been reading lately about some members who have " roller coaster " flucuations between feeling hyper and hypo after a few months on medication. I can relate to this. I thought at first the sluggishness meant entering hypo and then this was followed up by sleepless nights which I thought meant hyper and then a backflash to hives for a few days and now a few days of nothing bad happening. So I guess as your levels are shifting from hyper towards normal you can expect anything. I've gained 5 pounds since being on medication for the last 2 months. I'm going to take someone else's advise here and declare war on those pounds before I end up with more weight. I had put a hold on my gym membership after the doctor's told me not to excercise till my heart rate went down but I think the time has come to make a move back. I think I'll start with weights and move slowly to cardio. Thanks again to all of you who are so willing to take the time and effort to help out. Happy New Year to all.
