Guest guest
Hey All- I have posted my most recent hair test results, in hopes someone can help interrupt the elements for me. I seem to be all over the place. I'm not sure if this is common with mercury toxicity? I'm Hair test number 125 at http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/hairtest.html I have chelated with oral DMPS for about 5 months, using not quite Andy's protocol (DMPS every 12 hours for three day rounds). After learning more a month ago, I am now taking chelaters more often and at present using DMSA over DMPS. The switch from DMPS to DMSA was mostly economical, because it frees me from having to rely on my ND. Also started adding ALA to the chelation a few weeks ago, using proper techniques. For a quick background, most of my symptoms are either fatigue, thyroid, energy related, or neurological. I am 30 years old, male, 70kgs/155lbs. I was fit until the mercury symptoms blew up about 1 1/2 years ago, now I struggle. I am in Auckland, New Zealand, but lived in the US until 3 years ago. I suspect I am either hypo-thyroid or 's syndrome and/or hypo- adrenal. I don't take anything for either one - that seems to be the most recent issue I have learned about and am going to try to address. My neuro symptoms are all in my head (eye pain, vision problems, TMJ problems, sinus inflammation, ear tube pains, etc) and then the typical brain fog most mercury people have. My mercury exposure was gradual environmental/dental until about 1 1/2 years ago, when things blew up after I had 3 vaccines at the same time (Flu, Tetanus, Hep- and at the same time had a bad eye infection which I took eye drops that contained Phynelmercuric Nitrate (sp?) all the time for a few weeks - that's why I ended up with so many eye/sinus/TMJ problems. I had my only amagam removed 6 months ago, before I took any DMPS. Interestingly the hair results don't show high mercury, but I read most autistic kids don't show high mercury either (read that in " Evidence of Harm " ). Something about the people who can't excrete mercury don't show mercury in their hair. For supplements, the main thing I take is Thorne's Basic Detox. It contains low to medium amounts of almost everything. In addition, I take: Zinc, Magnesium, B complex, Vit C, Vit A, Fish oils, plus a bunch of other herbal stuff. Anyway, I got the results back from DD and I though they looked intersting, but I can't read enough into them to really know. If anyone is a guro at reading results and want to have a look, it would be appreciated. Cheers- Ed

Some of your toxic elements are very low and this is not normal either. People with your type of hair test often benefit from things to improve digestion, such as enzymes and betaine hcl. > I have chelated with oral DMPS for about 5 months, using not quite > Andy's protocol (DMPS every 12 hours for three day rounds). Thyroid hormone support can help a lot. Be sure to test and treat adrenal function first. > My neuro symptoms are all in my head (eye pain, vision problems, TMJ > problems, sinus inflammation, ear tube pains, etc) and then the > typical brain fog most mercury people have. > > My mercury exposure was gradual environmental/dental until about 1 > 1/2 years ago, when things blew up after I had 3 vaccines at the same > time (Flu, Tetanus, Hep- and at the same time had a bad eye > infection which I took eye drops that contained Phynelmercuric > Nitrate (sp?) all the time for a few weeks - that's why I ended up > with so many eye/sinus/TMJ problems. It Last I checked, Thorne Basic Detox Nutrients contain ALA. If you use this you must take it on rounds only, and according to Andy's protocol, dosing at the half life. I recommend not using this product. It also has MSM and a lot of sulfury things that many people do not tolerate. -- > contains low to medium amounts of almost everything.
