Great report, , this may help alot of people, so thanks for posting this.

Did your hair test show you were a fast metabolizer, a very low Ca/P ratio? Do

you dose every two hours, even at night? Hopefully you won't have to go less

than two hours when you add in ALA, but keep the same principle in mind, when

you do start ALA.--------Jackie

I've been following this forum for a little over a year now, and have

made a few posts. I just wanted to share my experience with everyone.

According to Andy's protocol DMSA is to be taken every 4 hours ( or

more frequently). Whenever I started on 12.5mg of DMSA every 4 hours,

I would feel great for the first day or two, but by the 3rd day I

would begin to have joint and muscle pain among other symptoms. Then I

remembered what Andy mentioned in his book:

" Reactions that grow over a series of days are probably due to

mercury redistribution caused by a fast metablolism, which would

suggest more frequent administration "

So knowing that I'm a fast metabolizer,I decided to try the same dose

every 3 hours. I felt better, but still had some reactions. So now I'm

taking it every 2 hours and don't have any reactions at all! I'm

really feeling great, and will be adding ALA in a few months.

In addition to the DMSA,I'm also supporting my adrenals and

thyroid, along with taking the supplements that Andy recommends.

I just want to express my thanks to Andy and all the contributors in

this group and say that Andy's protocol DEFINITELY WORKS!!

Everyone seems to react a little differently to chelation, so be

careful, take it very slowly, and you should be fine.

Best of Luck!

No Jackie I never had my hair tested,I've just always felt as though

I had a fast metabolism.I do dose every 2 hours even at night which

is very tiring, so I do short rounds of 3 days on 4 days off. Your

right, I hope every 2 hours on ALA works just as well. I'll keep you

posted.
