Thanks Luci, I'm totally prepared for a hard time when I fly now - I've

flown about 3 or 4 times since 9-11 too and have been given such a hard time

all times that I just expect it now. I don't know why they single out a

mother with a baby and make her hand her screaming baby to a complete

stranger while they take her shoes and pat her down and go through her bag

and stroller and make the baby with stranger stand 10 feet away from the

mother, but they just do. Every time. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the

extra security and wouldn't have it any other way... I just wish while they

were searching *me* and letting all the other potential terrorists walk on

by as fast as they can to get out of earshot of the screaming baby they

would look for real threats, I mean, what mother is going to blow her kid

up?

So the film getting ruined by the x-rays is " new " technology. This is what

is troubling me right now.

I just called the dispensary (thanks for emailing me I almost forgot about

this), and they said they didn't think the x-rays would harm the tinctures

in any way... so I'm going to go with that... but it's still going to niggle

in the back of my mind - you know why? Because I've been reading about

buying organic, non-irradiated herbs and spices... not the why you should,

just that you should. What is irradiated? It sounds like x-ray stuff to me

(which I'm paranoid about, I admit).

Ok, herbs in carry-on with their little stickers from the dispensary saying

what they are and looking nice and official, and husband is traveling with

us this time so he can hold the screaming kid instead of a stranger - it

should all be ok.
