There is every reason to believe if you really have the genetic condition Gilbert's syndrome, that would make you far more likely to accumulate mercury than ordinary people. ALA chelation is going to be good for you because it will help excrete glutathione conjugates of a lot of things, and not doing that is the problem in Gilbert's syndrome.
