Guest guest
Mark-alexseeold, just to clarify AI page 161 Tyrosine (phenylalanine) decrease phase 1 . I just read this myself this past weekend, so will add it and see AI page 159... " methyl donors..involved in methylation metabolism help with one part of phase 2 metabolism... " Then at the end of this paragraph it implies that SAMe helps with this methylation. However i have not had the brain power to understand this element of phase 2 (ie methylation)...so it appeasr SAMe is helpful for this but I do not know if you or I need help on this pathway of the Phase 2 tests > I have fast Phase 1, normal Phase 2 pathways > according to the Great Smokies lab test. Do I want to slow down > Phase 1 and why, and if so, using what? Sam-e, niacinamide or > grapefruit seed extract, or something > else? What is the impact on the body of all this? Less intermediate toxins? > > Thanks, Mark Answer from > Mark my understanding is that niacinamide and grapefruit seed > extract and grapefruit juice slow down phase 1 which slows down > the metabolism of your liver so that toxins get removed/cleansed > more efficiently... I think Sam-e is a NO NO (not 100% on this > though, you may want to use the search tool on this site.
