Update -- and achy joints

Well today I am at the six month mark. Personally I think I have

been dumping on and off the past three months ... but now I'm at

the " big day. "

Also appear to have survived my missing a dose and accidentally

continuing. Won't do that again (I hope)!

Anyway I've done 8 rounds of 3 mg. ALA by itself. Although I still

have the occasional brain blip (like walking into a room and

thinking " what was I supposed to get in here? " ) ... my mind is

functioning pretty well ... some nice dreaming going on. I have a

feeling a week is going to get skipped over the holidays .. too much

traveling and other stuff going on.

I am still fairly twitchy ... but it's my first day off the last

round. I hate the twitching ... always makes me nervous. The

twitching in my right eye has been replaced by my left eye today.

It's amazing that a " hot spot " one weeks will be replaced by another

one after another round. A lot of my tiredness is gone ... and I

have very little " after-round " crap anymore.

However ... and this may be because we just had a cold, wet snow ...

my joints are aching. They are a little better today ... but I

irritated my elbow just moving a pillow around in bed this

morning ... and my right knee is acting up again ... very tired. And

the joints in my feet even hurt some. And I am getting occasional

sciatica/neck pain flares. I do see a chiropractor about once every

three weeks. I have the C2 from hell. :)

I take the full AI vitamin regimen. This includes a cal/mag 1:1

citrate supplement (perhaps 1200 mg. a day) .... vitamin B12

sublingually (about 2000 m a day) ... and about 8 grams of vitamin

C.

Anyway ... just thought I would pop back in. I love reading the

progress reports of others. I hope I am on the right track. I always

worry I am hurting myself ... like did my dentist miss something (I

never had crowns or root canals, though) ... or am I foolish to go

ALA alone (I am not experiencing any big side effects). Then

again .... I am the world's biggest worrier!

Peace to all this Christmas season! K
