Guest guest
I've grown frustrated over whether or not to continue using prescribed estrogen patches. Current literature that comes with them states they can exacerbate liver tumors (hepatic hemangiomas) which I have, are linked to breast cancer, hypothyroid conditions, etc., etc., etc. Because of an early, complete hysterectomy, I've been on this med 15 years. Is there any reason, from a chelation standpoint, to stay on this medication? I have gone off on a couple occasions due to breast tenderness/calcifications & fluid retention, and went back on because I do recall words for/names of things better on a low dose of the medication. Learning about the liver tumor thing has made me very uncomfortable with continuing, as the hemangiomas found 4 years ago were already fairly large. I have read estrogen has a neuroprotective effect and really need an answer. If my own extremely low estrogen levels have made me more vulnerable to neurological damage from mercury, it's a bit scarey to chelate without taking ERT. Thanks, Joanne
