Guest guest
Hi I have seen Dr. Goldhar. In reagrds to your question about flaky. yes, i have finally come to the realization that flakiness is part of rosacea. I was diagnosed 13 years ago ( not by Dr. Goldhar ) and at that time I was not blushed or red and had no pimples. I still do not have any pimples. But I did and I still have the awful peeling skin. Some of it may be sebderm. but i don't think that all of it can be attributed to the sebderm. I wish to goodness that somewhere in the literature someone would mention the surface dyhydration as a symptom. Everything I have read talks about the red and the burn and the pimples and the stages. I have only the surface dehydration and since I have been posting and reading onthe internet, it seems as if the dehydration is very common. If I had know this years ago, I would have saved myself a lot of anguish and frustration. Whew!! if you see Dr. Goldhar, I would be most interested in any other skin conditions that can cause all this peeling and flaking and general grossness.
