Hi

I have seen Dr. Goldhar.

In reagrds to your question about flaky. yes, i have finally come to the

realization that flakiness is part of rosacea. I was diagnosed 13 years ago

( not by Dr. Goldhar ) and at that time I was not blushed or red and had no

pimples. I still do not have any pimples. But I did and I still have the

awful peeling skin. Some of it may be sebderm. but i don't think that all of

it can be attributed to the sebderm. I wish to goodness that somewhere in

the literature someone would mention the surface dyhydration as a symptom.

Everything I have read talks about the red and the burn and the pimples and

the stages. I have only the surface dehydration and since I have been

posting and reading onthe internet, it seems as if the dehydration is very

common. If I had know this years ago, I would have saved myself a lot of

anguish and frustration. Whew!!

if you see Dr. Goldhar, I would be most interested in any other skin

conditions that can cause all this peeling and flaking and general

grossness.

Regards

Oh my gosh Colleen, you'll be flooded with email looking at it only on weekends.

Glad to hear back from you.

I read from my home inbox so I keep fairly well caught up. You can choose to read from the web or your personal inbox.

This is my 'social life' you know! ;>)

Take care...
