Have just found out my best friend's Dad is seriously ill and in hospital

She's told me NOT to visit as he is drugged up to the hilt and just not the

I agree with the bit about not the same man, I only finally went to see my

FIL in the hospice because I wanted the boys to say goodbye to him. I would

much rather have not seen him, but at least he had the dignity of dying in a

hospice rather than a hospital. If they move him to a hospice I would say you

could reconsider her recommendation not to visit.

All I can say is be there for your friend and remember the fun you had with

him.
