Guest guest
I'm confused....is thyroglobulin AB and thyroxine Bindg Globn the same thing? This is a Canadian lab again..... In April, 2002 my TSI labs came back: Thyroglobulin AB >3000 H Range 1-121 Thyroid Peroxidase AB 1081 H Thyrotropin Bind Immuno >40 Theraputic Range: Less than 1.0 Borderline: 1.0-2.0 Elevated: Greater than 2.0 Got my labs from the latest TSI that was ordered. This is all that came back, even though the same tests as above were ordered: Thyroxine Bindg Globn (PL) 31l nmol/L Range: 150-360 New Reference Range effective May 29, 2002 My gp seems to think this is the same test as TSI...could this be? On another note.... Oct 30, 2002 TSH 3.33 (0.30-5.50) FT4 15.1 (9-19) Nov 29, 2002 TSH 3.11 FT4 14.2 My gp says to reduce Methimazole from 6.25mg to 5mg, to see if I feel even better. I have been on 6.25mg for one month after being on 7.5mg for 3 months and going hypo! Should I make the move or be more cautious? Thanks. Lori Diagnosed Oct 2001 after thyroid storm Joint pain--GONE!Yippee! Currently on 6.25mg Methimazole, 8mg Atacand for bp Bp still high 160/
