Another thought on the cavitation question. If he said that it looked

like they were still there, it could be that the dentist who did the

extraction left some of the tooth behind. That is _serious_ bad news,

and would almost definitely leave you with an infection. That's what

they did to me, and the infection bored it's way up into the right

sinus. I had an infection up there for 25, count 'em, 25 f@$#ing years.

And the a%$&-hole knew it too. He said, " Be aware that it may ... but I

don't even want you to worry about it ... " I mean, how double-speakey

is that?? Do you know that was a professor at Harvard Dental School???

Bastards.

Any other profanities I haven't used? Throw 'em in!

Grr -

Dave.

I had an awful experience with wisdom teeth removal... dry socket..

and I had to go in to the oral surgeon everyday for two weeks to have

it packed with some type of oil I believe. Extreme pain-worse than

pregnancy. I have an appointment with the dentist on Wed to have two

fillings replaced. I will have to discuss this with him again to

make sure I understand what he sees on the x-ray. Who does

cavitations? Dentists or oral surgeons? Thanks Sheila
