I was skinnier after my times of heaviest exposure. Subsequent to

those times I put on weight. I've never been terribly overweight

(although I have pretty strange fat distribution), but some people

put on more than I.

The things mercury does can push weight to extremes in both

directions. Thyroid and adrenal issues, type 1 or 2 diabetes,

problems in energy production and fat burning, lots of stuff.
