need help Elaine or anyone

Its been a while since I wrote. I been busy and haven't had the time for much

of the computer.

I'm in need of some help before I called the Endo tomorrow. Three weeks ago I

got sick with a cold. Since then I haven't been feeling right. Then last week

I started having shortness of breathe, rapid heart beat, fast pulse around

100. Also I can't fall asleep till 3 in the morning and then my husband keeps

waken me up cause I have trouble breathing. Plus my eyes got worse. I haven't

had these symptoms since before the RAI back in April.

I did call my Endo last Thursday because I was very concern that these

symptoms came back and ask him if I can take a atenolol since I had a couple

left. He did let me take the atenolol and told me to come in the next day. I

still had the rapid heart beat, my pulse went down to 90 and I still had some

trouble breathing. He told me that its probably not my thyroid since my last

labs came back good and that was 2 months ago. I was due for my next batch of

labs in 2 weeks. He had me go for my labs on Friday and I have to call him on

Monday for the results but in the mean time he told me to stop taking the 75

mcg of synthroid and gave me a prescription for more atenolol and a

prescription for 50 mcg of synthroid (which I can't fill till the labs come

back). He did ask alot of questions on other symptoms. My question is can I

go hyper again after being on 75mcg of synthroid for 5 months or is it

something more serious? And why would he tell me to stop taking the synthroid

if he didn't think it was my thryroid causing it.
