text trimming and changing the subject line

PLEASE, when responding to a message, TRIM the message that you are

replying to and only leave the portion that you are replying to. It

is a real pain for the people who get email in digest form to scroll

through all of the old text and try to figure out what the new message

is and what part of the old message the person is replying to. It is

also a pain for moderators to have to do the text trimming. We will

have to reject messages that are not properly trimmed.

Please DO leave the portion of the message that you are responding to.

It is also difficult to remember what the thread was all about if

people leave nothing.

Please change the subject line as the subject of the thread changes.

It the message is something that you would like Andy to see, if he is

ever on the web, then include his name in the subject line. If he is

on the web I can guarantee he doesn't read every message.

Please keep off topic messages to a minimum and clearly mark them as

off topic.
