Thanks for sharing your problems….they help me avoid them. I will not try ALA yet. > > One thing that stephanie mentioned about your parasite cleanses. I belive it was TK who suggested that i not combine > the parasite cleanses with the chelators for this reason. Sunshine: Most of my chronic and worst problems are physical in nature. The mercury in me seems to have hugely affected my body more so than my brain. Every organ is compromised in some way. Everything hurts is congested, backed-up, clogged up with toxins. The more cleanses I do the better I feel. That's bowel, kidney and parasite cleanses. (Liver flushing is too powerful and I 100pct agree with Cutler that it should be avoided.) The parasite cleanses I have done have radically improved my life, I get significantly better after each attack on the bugs. They are big events for me, I usually have a multitude of strange symptoms and a healing crisis….none of which is compatible with chelation. So for parasite cleansing, chelation is put on hold. I will be chelating for a couple of years, so having a break to parasite cleanse, which always leads to me feeling better, is no big deal…as I said chelation is a long term deal, parasite cleansing can only be done every 3 months anyway so I don't mind the break. I have been bowel cleansing intermittently for 8 months too and I still have mucoid plaque coming out of me…..and there is still plenty coming out even after all that time ….i am(was!) very heavily congested inside me. With all the mercury still in me, still causing my organs to be compromised, I will have to continue these cleanses regularly. When the mercury is finally chelated out, my body will be better able to remove toxins on its own….until then….i will continue the cleanses. They have worked absolute wonders for me. The clearer my body is of toxins, the easier chelation will be in any case. I'm a pro now and they are easy anyway. > I can only guess it was just too much for my liver. I have had very > good parasite cleansing results with just the chelators (dmps and ala > mostly now) and more gentle liver support (milk thistle and others > see below). BY this I mean, about once a month, my liver seems to > dump quite a large amount of these old dead liver fluke parasites Sunshine: yes, me too…I regularly have BM's with parasites (now that I know what I'm looking for) that's even when I am not parasite cleansing. Although I do take a few herbs everyday to keep them in check…ginger, cloves, fennel, cinnamon, thyme. > > I am also doing castor oil packs and other liver support raw herbal > drinks that seem to be very soothing and cleansing for the > liver/blood at the same time . I had been doing tinctures but then > found out that the ones I was suing had a high alcohol component > which was bad for me. I also am taking cleavers (for lymph drainage > and doing rebounding which I think is helping get rid of the crud > from chelating) Sunshine: I am doing castor oil packs too, although not every week as they always give me a rash. I do a series of three in 3 days and drink some olive oil too. I feel it helps. > > I went extreme on my diet about a month ago and this has helped as > well..no sugars, no caffeine, no bread no processed foods...mostly > raw foods, in order to both try to deal with my yeast problems and > make things easier on my liver/kidneys/bowels/etc. Sunshine: yes, I saw your post about the extreme diet, Congrats….its tricky to make that transition….old habits are hard to kick. Extreme diet was one of the first things I did. Well….i had to `cause I was so bloody sick….everything made me sick so I didn't have any choice. It makes a massive difference and is one of the many reasons why I am getting better. Now thought… I can handle some healthy treats…I had some wheat free, egg free, sugar free, dairy free cake for my birthday this week….first cake I have eaten in over 2 years…..its nice to be getting a bit better to have the odd treat without suffering. > > I believe these latter things (previous two paragarphs) has allowed > me to progress more quickly on my chelator increases and makes the > rounds easier.. Sunshine: I am getting better, no doubt about it, but it's not just about Chelation. Chelation will remove the root cause of the problems, but the congestion is still there and the body still needs a helping hand to flush out the baddies. I will continue chelating because that's the only way I will get permanently well/healed, but I will continue the multitude of other health regaining activities too for as long as possible because they all help to some degree. The parasite cleanses have led to the biggest and fastest upwards improvements in my health. I start my 3rd one month parasite cleanse next week. Good luck and good health to you too Sunshine
