Hi Kat, You do have a point to a certain extent. However, clinically when you supplement the basic supplements according to Andy most people do better. The chelation will remove the mercury that is sitting on cell receptors interferring with how you transport chemicals around. In this case (as with some aspects of the protocol) you have little choice, but to provide what you are lacking in while you work towards a cure. You need to supply minerals in a high enough fashion that your body can use them despite the deranged mineral tranpsort. Persumably it can counter it to a certain extent by supplementing correctly, but you cannnot cure it without chelation, and only Andy' protocol is safe enough to chelate with. You see, little choice but too move slowlt forward. > It seems that I may be wasting my time. That is certainly not true. Hang in there. It takes time. >My system has a hard time adjusting and digesting all these new supplements > that I am introducing. Will my system adjust? You should not really be having a hard time adjusting. Perhaps you added the supplements all at the same time and this caused a problem? Rather you should add one every few days so you know what is helping and what isn't. What do you mean when you say you are having a hard time adjusting? DeanSA

There will still be some receptors available. If you provide more mineral, then more if it will get where it needs to go. > have high levels? It seems that I may be wasting my time. My > system has a hard time adjusting and digesting all these new supplements > that I am introducing. Will my system adjust? First, add supplements one at a time and increase slowly. This will allow your body time to adjust. If you find a supplement your body can't seem to tolerate even when you introduce it in small amount, ask and someone else may have an idea how to handle it since they've dealt with the same problem. Sometimes a different form or a different product makes a difference. If you don't tolerate selenium, it is not critical. I would focus initially on the more critical supplements, like vit C, E, zinc, magnesium. -- > kat >
