Gee's Linctus is pretty powerful stuff (that's why it works, lol!) which is

why pharmacists are wary of selling it. Best thing to do if you want to buy

it is to get to know your friendly neighbourhood pharmacist and always buy

it from the same place. Explain to her/him that you find it the best thing

for coughs and they should be happy to supply you with it so long as they

know its being used properly.

In my last job in a pharmacy we had a large number of drug addicts coming in

on a regular basis and it was easy enough to spot the people who wanted

Gee's Linctus/codeine linctus/Kaolin and morphine mixture for medicinal

purposes and those who wanted it for other ones. Innocent buyers purchase

it once or twice a year. others try to buy it once or twice a week - and

indeed they may, if they go round the all the chemists in the area.
