Hi Aldyth,

My endo believes the Graves' hits suddenly. My T4 and TSI were OK two and a half

years ago (although TSI on the low end and T4 on the high end). When diagnosed

in July of this year I had high blood pressure, rapid heartbeat, and had lost

some weight, and by the time I got to the endo. 6 weeks later the heart symptoms

were a lot worse (pulse 120, BP 170/60). So clearly the symptoms started to get

worse quickly. I'm glad that my bulging eyes caused the GP to check for what she

thought was low thyroid, because she thought I had cardiac problems.

That said, I've had Graves' symptoms (and possibly hypo symptoms, and definitely

other autoimmune problems) since age 2.)
