Guest guest
Hey guys Thanks for all the birthday wishes to Amy. She didn't start this birthday off with a bang, that's for sure. I came in this morning and the poor thing had been vomitting all night - she greeted me with more. However as the morning progressed she seemed to be feeling a little better. She had a bath and we changed the sheets on her bed. I gave her a foot rub with some new cream she got for her birthday. She opened some presents and now she is having a little rest before Paigey comes in for a visit with my mom, dad, Jodie and Jeff will join us as well. The doctors were in this afternoon to discuss the procedure they are going to do on the lungs. Amy did not have to have her lungs tapped this morning because they are just going to drain them when they insert the chest tube. They will probably have to do both lungs are they are both surrounded with fluid now. They also confirmed that the fluid is cancerous.......... I think we were all expecting that to be the case. They also talked again about putting Amy on the IV nutrition line again since she is unable to keep anything down. They said we could definately bank on being her for AT LEAST another 2 weeks. Not a great birthday present from them, eh??!! Anyways, take care peta " Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away " .
