Not sure if it'll help you. But, when I get one of those types of coughs, I suck

on a starlight mint. They're the ones you see around Christmas time. They're

white with the red around the outside. For some reason, the mint seems to help.

Sometimes the dry cough is because of mucus that you just can't get out. If

mints or cough drops don't help try Mucinex or Robitussin. They help to thin

mucus making it easier to cough it out of your system. You should still call

your doctor to get his/her opinion. With PF it's not good to take chances.
