As a tangent to this, maybe this is a good time to remind everyone that we

don't always know who is on the list. Anyone can join, and they don't have

to have a connection to NCT. It's a good idea to keep this in mind when

posting on very personal subjects - and never to post personal details such

as your phone number, address or the combination of your safe. It's hard

to imagine men being interested in half the stuff we discuss here, but you

never know what motivations individuals have when they join a list. As

moderators, we do screen email addresses as people join, and we promptly

ban any that are obviously not desireable (iam.kinky was one that springs

to mind!)

According to our membership list there are a few men - maybe 5 or 10% of

the 250 members. Some of them could be wives using the same Yahoo ID, but

some are clearly men - like - who did introduce himself when he

joined the list, IIRC.

If anyone has any concerns, suggestions or general comments about this,

please let us know.

I'll leave the reactions on the *content* to others, my only comment

is: I didn't know we had men on this list! We talk about a lot of

private girly things like periods, hysterctomies, sanitary towels; I

thought this was a women's only forum? Isn't this why the moderators

ask us to have our own email addresses rather than coming in through

our DH's address, so that we can have privacy and not have our

partners reading this?
