Guest guest
I guess the roller coaster ride continues. Last wek I was happy as my cea significantly decreased to the normal range. Yesterday my wife got a call from my onc saying my ct scan noted an enlarged lymph node -1.8cm X 0.8 cm. My wife is not good on geting details or asking questions. When I got home I called t he onc but he was with patients. I went out for a while last night and naturally he called at 7PM with me gone and leaving a message he did not want to go home without talking to me. The onc did tell the wife it may or may not mean anything. Of course I have a whole page of technical questions by now. He has not returned my call yet today. I know infections and other non cancer processes can enlarge lymph nodes. If anyone has any hard data to help such as what percent of 1.8cm mesenteric lymph nodes are malignant or other such facts I would appreciate the imput. thanks
