Guest guest
Hello All, I am new to this group and have few questions. I really need your input as I am so lost on how to chelate after removal. I have chosen a mercury free dentist who follows the IAOMT suggested safe techniques for mercury removal. But he doesn't make any recommendations for detoxification. I have few questions in regards to chelation. 1. Is it recommended to use FIR sauna? Has any one used " Far Infra Red " sauna for chelation? 2. Since I have to wait 2 months before I can start ALA can I start with DMSA right away. 3. Where can I buy DMSA, like Whole food store or any other vitamin shop? What else can I do after amalgams removal. Please fill me in as I am really very CONFUSED Thanks in advance!!!! Dentists might be expert at dentistry but most don't know how to make proper recommendations for detoxification - which means that their recommendations can end up hurting people. > I have few questions in regards to chelation. > > 1. Is it recommended to use FIR sauna? Has any one used " Far Infra > Red " sauna for chelation? > FIR is not recommended in this group. There are posts from Andy Cutler on the subject. See the files and links sections. Regular sauna is fine, as long as you can sweat. People who can't sweat should wait until they can before attempting sauna. Read up on sauna to be sure that you are replacing water and minerals, and using reasonable time limits. Dry sauna is easier on the adrenals as compared to wet sauna. > 2. Since I have to wait 2 months before I can start ALA 3 months.... > can I start > with DMSA right away. > Yes. See Andy's two books and TKs general recommendations in the files section. > 3. Where can I buy DMSA, like Whole food store or any other vitamin shop? > There are several links to internet sources in the links section. Some do not list the DMSA on line - you have to phone and ask for it. Try to get 25 mg caps so that it is easy to split in half for 12.5 mg doses to start. > What else can I do after amalgams removal. Please fill me in as I am > really very CONFUSED > Read through the files and links sections and Andy's two books. There is so much information there - it is difficult to abbreviate. Start on at least the basic recommended supplements. Read about diet interventions in Andy's file " Diet - How to pick the right one for your kid " (same principles for adults) and in " Amalgam Illness " . Proper diet and supplementation alone can make a person feel much better. There are some specific concerns that individuals need to address (adrenals, thyroid, liver, etc, etc). You really need to start reading and after a while you will begin to understand how to determine which interventions are needed for you.
