Guest guest
My personal feeling is that it's best to be very conservative in adding ALA. Don't hurry it. I'm about to start round 13 on DMSA alone, and I'm not even thinking about ALA yet. I may not add it until I've done a year of weekly DMSA rounds. You are right that ALA is a two-edged sword; it can carry mercury into the brain just as easily as it can carry it out. If you have any doubts, or any suspicion that your mercury levels are not yet WAY down, I would hold off. Guest guest
This has been a question for me as well ... as I have been chelating using *only* ALA ... I've been doing fine with it other than a sore throat on this last round ... but I am almost at the 6 month point. If you look at Andy's chart I'm actually already dumping ... getting to the " worst " point. I wish Andy would address this ... especially for those of us wanting to go ALA only if possible. > > I have read the recommendations in AI and here in the files, and they > seem to differ.
