Guest guest
I'm sure they did know best! Maybe in the intervening 15 or so years, they've changed their thinking. had no complications either, and his was less severe than Zachary's, so I'm sure his surgery could have waited. I'm glad they didn't wait though, because has no recollection whatsoever. I'm sure at 3 that wouldn't be the same story! Thanks for your support! Amy. Re: Amy Amy, I have no idea why they waited so long. His was a mild case and did not cause any problems for him. I just did what they told me back then and that was when they chose to do it. He was seen at s Hopkins by a urologist so I assumed he knew best. Darlene
Guest guest
Hey Amy: Any way you can come as far as Waldorf, MD and I could meet you there..or we could even do Ft. Washington, MD. That would be more than halfway for me but not a bad drive and on this side of the bridge. If so, let's set a date! Chinese? Guest guest
Hey guys Thanks so much for all of your concern, thoughts, support, etc. Amy is still in the hospital. But NO bowel sounds still.....it has been 7 days since surgery. They just put her on clear fluids today to see if that would get things going. Her pain is pretty much under control now however she has been getting new pain in her pelvic area. There are new mets there though. I have read a bit about bowel paralyzation and I am quite a bit worried about that.......anyone hear about this?? Thanks peta
