Hello once again:

My labs went hypo in Nov. I had blood drawn on !2/10/02 and saw my

DO today ... said the numbers were OK...still a bit low but I'm

definitely not as tired.

On 2.5 mg of MMU per day

T3, Total 112 60-181

T-4, Free 0.6 0.8-1.8

TSH 0.64 0.40-5.50

I see my Endo on Tuesday the 17th Dec. I am going to take him these

results as they will be a week old.

One thing that concerned me was ... now my blood pressure went up a

little so the DO told me to take 25mg of Toprol again...

He is obviously not communicating with the Endo as it is not the one

he recommended. He asked me ... " So ...what are we doing? Are you

going to Nuke it? " I just said no .. we're trying ATDs right

now...Anyway...as usual..any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Connie----who just found out a friend of my sister's was given the

line 97% of people get liver damage on ATDs and she had RAI....even

though I tried to inform her....Alas....

P.S. By the way...I don't think I had mentioned this...but...the

first time I saw the endo he said he didn't have any problem with me

choosing ATDs but said one thing that could happen would

be " depletion of bone marrow " and then it could be serious...I had

not heard that one...Anyone else?
