Sticker drugs warning

I was given a sheet by DS's nursery school today - I rang Wimbledon

Police to confirm that the information was correct, which it is though

they didn't issue the information - their Intelligence unit is working

on some literature at the moment.

The sheet says:

WARNING! URGENT NOTICE TO ALL PARENTS/CARERS

A form of tattoo called " the blue star " is being sold to school

children.

Description

* It is a small sheet of paper containing " blue stars " or other tabs

* They are the size of a pencil top eraser or fingernail

* Each star is soaked in LSD

*The drug can be absorbed through the skin simply by handling the

paper*

There are also brightly coloured tabs resembling postage stampe which

have pictures of the following (and the police thought they were

evolving pictures):

Clowns Superman Mickey Mouse

Bart Simpson Butterflies Other Disney Characters

Each one is wrapped in foil. This is a new way of selling 'acid' by

appealing to young children and your child could come across these and

have a 'fatal trip'. It is also believed other children who want to

have some fun by cultivating new customers without the child's

knowledge could give little children a tattoo.

A stamp called The Red Pyramid is also being distributed, along with

microdots in variuos colours. Another is The Window Pane, which has a

grid that can be cut out.

*All of these are laced with drugs*

Please advise your neighbours, friends, relatives, Day Care/Nursery

Centres and children about these drugs. If your child getshold of any

of the above DO NOT HANDLE THEM. These are known to react quickly and

some are laced with Strychnine.

SYMPTOMS:

Hallucinating Unontrolled laughter Changes in

body temperature

Severe vomiting Mood changes

I feel very angry about this invasion of children's freedom - I have

two cousins who will never be able to live normal lives again through

drug abuse - one is an lsd induced schizophrenic and the other suffers

from chronic depression from cannabis. An endless worry too, to my

aunt.
