TK--- the different forms help a lot of people tremendously, how much it helps and the best form varies. Many people do just fine with sublingual/oral in large doses but it is less effective than injection - others need to inject to get results. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Autism-Mercury/message/33724 http://www.whale.to/w/b12.html Do people use it ? Guest guest
In my personal experience I am strongly inclined to believe B12, as well as other Bs, do stir up mercury. Here's why I think that...when I take B12 at any dose I get sore tight muscles in my leg calves that will in a week or so of continued use get so bad it is almost a paralysis with numbness, tingling, and droopy feet. It's scary. I stop the B12 and the symptoms go away mostly but not completely in about a week...symptoms linger indefinitely until...the next round of chelation which totally clears it up. Without B vitamins the calf problems slowly creep in on their own, much slower and much more subtle than with B vitamins. My theory is that natural processes are moving metals around a little bit to heavily used parts of the body, parts where most of the circulation is going to. Chelation clears it up each time. I work at a large supercenter store and walk probably 5 miles a day on the job with lots of squatting down to lower shelves. It is my theory that mercury is going to the most used parts of my body, which is the calves. The problem first popped up about a year before amalgam removal and then got worse after amalgam removal, and especially worse after the stupid 1200mg DMSA challenge test a doctor had me do (before I heard about Andy). Thus my theoretical link between the calf problems and mercury/lead (both elevated). Folate or SAMe do the same thing. I have to avoid B vitamin supplements. As a sidenote, B12 gives me a feeling of too much coffee. I got a B12 shot once and thought I was going crazy. It was a wildly uncomfortable few days before it started to wear off. Whatever. This stuff is I think more complicated than it appears. In any case, B12 or other Bs will mess me up, but DMSA fixes whatever they mess up. Figure that one out. > Do people use it ? > > > TK--- yes, all the different forms cyano, methyl, etc. > > > > I have read about people taking large doses (IM), while others warn > of > > the possibility that it can contribute to the methylation of > mercury. > > > TK-- it does not do this - http://onibasu.com/archives/am/42150.html
