phase 1-phase 2 issues/questions-and related MCS

Background

I had the liver metabolism tests done and yes I have fast phase 1

slow phase 2, just like AI summarizes. So my question is

A) I have quite severe MCS which has I think become more pronounced

this last year by taking chorella/cilantro BUT in retrospect I feel

many of my particular problems seem to have been aggravated by being

more exposed to fumes in our downtown San Francisco for the last 2-10

years.

My question is this, do phase 1-phase 2 problems become more

problematic DUE to mercury/heavy metals being stirred up? OR

Are the phase 1-phase 2 problems more just our genetic makeup that

weaken our liver to be able to deal with the heavy metals?

I realize this is like a chicken or the egg question ie which problem

comes first, or maybe the two problems play off each other

B)does this liver problem (hence MCS) lessen as we chelate and get

the heavy metals out. I guess this is my " hope-springs-eternal "

question...

THE AI protocol of niacinamide, grapefruit juice and selenium has

helped a lot

I saw Dean's post the other day, which was very informative. I am

trying the licorice supplement mentioned.

I also have had bad reactions to the DHEA (taking for low DHEA-

adrenals) which AI says phase 1-phase 2 can cause and have tried

epsom salts (orally) but this does not seem to help

Thanks
