Oh the memories of Mumbles! I went to UCC (as it was known in those

days - I think it's now called University Collge of Wales Cardiff or

something)and in our third week in order to initiate us we all went

to Mumbles to do the Mumbles Mile. We had to have a drink in each of

the 26 (?) pubs and bars along the mile. It was 1985 so pubs didnot

open until 5.30pm so a lot of drinking was done in a very short space

of time- gosh were we ill but great fun. I can never think of

Mumbles without feeling slightly quesy and the startings of a

hangover from hell!!

I went to UCButlins (Swansea) as we called it. Unfortunately I don't drink

so can't say I really did the Mumbles Mile, but most of my college friends

did. I was there '84-'87 and again in '88-'89.
