Hi,

I'd like to chime in about this. About 8 months ago I found out that I

had liver metabolism difficulties (phase II) and started to treat that

with fresh juice (beets and grapefruit - no, not mixed together, lol)

and antioxidants.

As my liver has gotten better, I notice chelation rounds effect me much

more than they used to. I got in the habit of doing rounds like such: 3

days DMSA (25mg), then adding 25mg ALA for another 3 days and finishing

up with as many days as I can stand (considering the sleep deprivation)

of DMSA.

Since I hadn't had any side effects doing it this way for 10 or so

rounds, I decided to start the ALA and DMSA at the same time and boy

was I sorry - depression galore, terrible headaches, muscle and joint

pain, nausea and that creepy feeling (not sure how to describe that -

it's a little like the flesh isn't really attached to the bone mixed

with a feeling like the bone marrow is cold, ick.

I'm doing a round of DMSA now to try and clean things up but I think I

need to be much more conscientious now that things are moving more

quickly with my liver metabolism.

Also, regarding the liver troubles, I had problems with various meds,

foods and MCS for years before learning about the liver metabolism on

this site. I have a great doctor but she somehow overlooked this.

Treating the liver has and is helping tremendously.

To everyone's best health,

Alessa
