Guest guest
Hmm, well AFAIK most brands of formula are different from place to place [the brand not the milk] so I doubt you could get eg Aptamil in Dubai. Basically it's OK to change formula, although it's not recommended to do it all the time. Many ppl find that the first formula they try [chosen for price, availability of sachets/ready to feed, recommended by friend etc] doesn't agree with their baby and they have to switch once or twice. I don't know the legality in Dubai but in the UK I believe that all formulas have to have certain proportions of most nutrients so are more or less the same [although one brand may have a new ingredient that the others haven't invented yet such as the LCPs which now seem to be in all the milks] The one thing I would suggest is that she try and avoid formula made by Nestle/Carnation because of the massive boycott against them for the unscrupulous marketing of their product which has lead to the deaths of millions of babies in the poorer countries [and, arguably in richer ones too] I know most NCT types know all about this, but just in case!
