Guest guest Posted August 9, 2001 Report Share Posted August 9, 2001 DH finally got round to getting the DVD of Gladiator yesterday (he's a Ridley fan) so we sat and watched it last night. has anyone else seen it? I was brought up on a diet of horrible horror films courtesy of my older brother, but even i found the violence hard to stomach - it really is a real slasher movie. Have to agree with Crowe's oscar - he is brilliant in it. Any other DVDs worth getting? we already have What Women Want (a freebie due to doing the website) which is okay to watch once, but i don't think would stand up to repeated viewings!
