My ND seemed pretty uninterested or dismissive of anything I offered that I found compelling, including my own experience. However, she did accept me doing what I wanted. --

Are there any studies/articles on the subject? ------------The Rooney2007 paper in the Files section. My personal limited experience with ALA tells me it's a chelator and must be used properly, and the numerous personal reports here, are enough to convince me. I have found that practitioners set in their ways do not want to be " educated " , especially by patients, so you may be in a losing battle, or find yourself falling on deaf ears. It is probably worth a try, in case yours is more open-minded, but don't be surprised if you find yourself talking to a wall. And just because your ND doesn't believe it, it doesn't change the chemical properties of ALA and how it works, so please use it appropriately.----------Jackie Thanks, Mark
