Guest guest
Ruth - welcome to the list - I've only just read your post because I'm officially lurking whilst doing other things but can't resist - I'm longing to know how old your Sea Monkeys are! And how big? Ours never got much bigger than about 5mm. Lots of mutual interests here with tapestry and I found your mention of Post Natal elation and depression wonderful was this separate babies or all-in-one (my experience too, only different with baby #1 and baby #2) - likewise DD has dyslexia (being coped with admirably by private school in horrible contrast to the indifference by a cash-strapped education authority, but my pension is going, going ....) I would imagine your experiences with Guides (being creative) would stand you in good stead coping with dyslexic children. Does your DH do ship tapestries? I am interested in the idea of ships wool tapestries done by sailors in days gone by, and keep meaning to go to Greenwich Maritime museum to see them (anybody interested?) ever since my quilting teacher told us about her DH's ships embroideries... I want to do a deerhound tapestry next, having just fallen in love with a deerhound puppy at one of my dog's obedience classes. Any way, hope you enjoy...
