Guest guest Posted December 14, 2007 Report Share Posted December 14, 2007 Dear friends, I have been following the SCD diet for 2 years or even more. This diet has helped my gut significantly. If I don't follow the diet 100&, I get GI problems. The good news is that now I have chelated 7 rounds only ALA every 3 hours, I am noticing that I now can eat small quantities of foods that are not permitted in the SCD diet. WOW!! I have been eating chick peas and drinking licorice tea now for 2 days. My digestion of these foods is not yet perfect, but it is definitely much better than before I started chelating. The fact that I can drink licorice tea is great news for m, because I have adrenal fatigue. Yesterday I just slept 6-7 hours and woke up feeling quite nice, whereas normally I sleep 12 hours and still feel tired awakening. Hopefully the licorice will make my mercury and copper detox better.
