Andy, I'm curious as to what structures in the body are rich in thiols? And what are these structures made of that make them rich in thiols? Also wondering what you know about " Asparagusic acid " ? I know that it's found in asparagus, that it has thiols in it. In fact the structure looks very similar to Lipoic acid. Though I suppose if there isn't anything in our bodies that turns this acid into a chelator as does the body with Lipoic acid then it isn't much use as a chelator. Thanks, Mike
