Guest guest
Well we went in for the appointment with the gastroenterologist (couldn't they find a word easier to spell?) to go over the results of her most recent Cat Scan. He said that he didn't find anything bad, which was a lot of pressure off our minds. He said that her rectum/colon below where they did the resection had narrowed and that was causing her the pain. He went on to say that sometimes it improves over time and other times it never does. He prescribed some medications to help her ease the painfullness of going to the bathroom. We'll see if they work. Couple of them are over the counter stuff, he said to use those for a couple of weeks and if they don't work then he also gave her a prescription for another medication (sorry can't think of the name right now) that should do the job. He said that if the pain continues even after these medications then we'll go back in and he'll think of something else. Other than that she is doing good.
