Guest guest
Hi Jody- That hypothyroidism is associated with high cholesterol levels has been common knowledge for many many years. BUT, there had never been a study on it. They finally completed one some time last year (I think) and it showed a clear association. I didn't read the study (didn't see the point since specialists knew the relationship was there) but the results were published in the newspaper. I don't know who the authors were or the title of the study but if you go on medline or pubmed, there will be a fairly recent study on hypothyroidism and cholesterol (key words that should turn it up). Take care, dx & RAI 1987 (at age 24) > Do you know of any studies that show that when we are hypO our cholesterol goes us? I know that it does, I am just curious about studies on it. Do you have any urls on this by chance? > > Jody
