Guest guest
Whew well that is a relief. Still no fun. Can they clean her out at all even if by an enema? As for the breathing ask the nurses if they have one of those gadgets with the breathing tube from respiratory therapy. The poop isn't really sliding down though so we need to get that going!! Amy has a urinary tract infection that was causing the fever. The pain was by abdominal cramping. Her oxygen levels are a little low because of the high level of morphine and the bottom of her lungs are a little collapsed because she was in so much pain she was unable to deep breathe. We have to work on deep breathing, coughing and walking!! So today turned out ok. She is still quite feverish and in pain but is much more comfortable than earlier. I am sleeping here tonight so I will keep you posted! Hugs Peta
